The world has never moved that fast, so if you have an internet connection that is telling you otherwise, it is time for an upgrade--a serious upgrade. If you don't know where to begin looking, consider getting Charter's Ultra60 Mbps service. You can get all the details at Ultra60 Information Page, but for starters you can begin by knowing that Charter's Ultra60 Mbps service is the one with the fastest internet speed in the St. Louis market. The said service will begin rolling out to other parts of the Continental US during this year, and chances are that it will be getting to a place near you. With the speed allowed through Charter's services, you will be able to game like never before, enjoy those movies faster and with a crispier screen, and most importantly, send large files through your email service provider without having to worry about the dozens of minutes that it used to take.

black and white little girl

While we are on our current theme of posting cute black and white pics, I wanted to upload this one that I saw in the internets. It reminded me of my exgirlfriend. Once, she showed me this picture of her when she was five (maybe four, who knows), and she was in this cute little dress and her parents had given her this rediculous hair style, yet on her it looked very good. The expression she had in that picture is identical to the one in the above pic.
Funny, though we've been broken up for almost two months now, there is rarely a day that I don't think of her, or that I see something or someone that brings my memory right back to her. I miss her a lot, but that's the price I have to pay for the way I managed things while we were still together.
Perhaps I'll write about that one of this days, until then enjoy the image.

BluWorld

I am a college student, and as such, I inherintly embrace the concept of the word "free." Free food, free drinks, free you call it, the idea that you don't have to put a lot of effort to get someething of value is truly amazing. On the same token, there are a lot of opportunities to earn some great prices on the internet. For very little effort on your part, you can get things that outside the virtual world might cost a lot more money and resources to get. Case in point, consider the BluFrog's itsablueworld.com website . There are some pretty cool opportunities out there such as: Blu Gamer. Fancy an Xbox 360 Elite Gaming syste with a Rock Band 2 hundle? Then visit the site, comment and why you would like to win any of their ubercool prices (or tweet about them too, and voila...you'll have a good chance of getting an xbox amongst other great prices your way. Want some more examples: How about passing on your grandma's New Year's Eve Party to attend the center of the universe: New York Time Square with thousands of other enthusiastic people, welcoming the pristine, New Year? Well, either i) comment on the site, ii) tweet about it, or better yet iii) blog about it! Its that simple, its not hard, so don't be lazy and grab the opportunity to get an awesome price for very little effort.

black and white hope

We all need it; no matter how corny the concept might seem to some, the truth is that hope is something that we all yearn deep inside; be it because we are young and with dreams, or old with memories, hope is something that invigorates us on the deepest sense. On that token, what better embodiment of such a feeling than the younger generation. Because of this, here is a black and white picture of hope, a black and white picture of the younger generation, of a child. Thus, if you are having a tough day, don't falter, there is hope out there somewhere; there is hope for you, for me, for all of us...and that' ain't corny; that's just the plain ol' truth son.

black and white droplets of water

Cohesion is a thing that you might as well thank God for now...right now! If it wasn't for it, you and I, as two-legged creatures would stop breathing as fast as it took for us to get conceived (thank you Dad). Anyhow, cohesion is the ability of water to attract itself; it is mainly caused by hydrogen bonds, a phenomena that also accounts for this molecule's uncanny ability to dissolve many other substances. Back to the topic at hand, cohesion is the reason why plants can transport water from the ground, all the way up to the leaves high up on their branches.
If this didn't happen, there would be no plants, no plants, no animals, no animals, no meet for you and I to grill on a quiet Sunday afternoon...and the rest is history.

black and white basketball

I don't like the sport; I don't play it, nor do I watch it. I even had floor seats to watch the Miami Heats, with O'Neal so close that his big massive self could've easily slapped me out of the stadium, but even then I found the sport to be dull.
However, the above black and white image of a statue giving tribute to the sport is quite an amazing piece. Click on the image to get redirected to the source of this work of art.

HomeAgain

Pets are a wonderful thing, really. I mean, we take for granted how medicinal their quiet, living presence is in our daily lives. Yet, for some unknown reason, there are thousands of pet owners across the US and the rest of the world that mistreat their pets.

Don't be one of them, and most importantly, try to do something to stop this irrational behavior from spreading. You can do your part by registering your pet during the American Humane Association's Be Kind to Animals Week® May 3-9, 2009. For each pet that is registered during the aforementioned time frame, HomeAgain will make a one dollar donation through bringpetshome.com, a fundraising Web site specifically created to help shelter animals.

If you want to take it an extra step, you can further their cause by shopping at bringpetshome.com. A portion of any purchase done through their website goes to sheltering and feeding animals, as well as providing them with the adequate medical care needed for a healthy life.

So, register your pet this week, and enable HomeAgain to keep helping needy animals; they've been essential in recovering over half-a-million lost pets. Also, learn more about the services that HomeAgain provides at their Home Again Web Site.

Black and White River

When I was small, I used to love going to a specific uncle's house. He lived in this small cabin located in a remote plateau, about twenty minutes from where my parents used to live. What I used to adore about this home was that at the back of the house, there used to be a little "secret door" that would open to a small track amidst the heavy vegetation surrounding the little crib. If you followed it, it would eventually take you to this small river whose weak torrent made the most relaxing sounds.
While surfing the web for a black and white image, I came across the one above, and it completely catapulted me back to those childish days when I would loose myself on the melody of the river's passing.
It was beautiful.
To be young!

BeeWell Miles

We have all gone through it: a new year begins, we look at our belly, and then we decide that we should go ahead and lose those ten to twenty pounds that have us far away from our prime.

However, most of the times, the promise begins and ends there. Yet, now there is a chance to add meaning to regaining an active lifestyle. How would you like to know that while you try fighting out those extra pounds from your system, you can help a noble cause that is bigger than yourself, such as helping finding a cure for Breast Cancer?

Well, this is your year. Beginning the first of April until the last day of October, Bumble Bee Foods will be donating fifteen cents per mile for every mile that is logged in at BeeWellMiles.com. They will do so up to a maximum of two hundred thousand dollars! That's a lot of money for a cause that is worth its weight on gold.

So, get up, and begin walking both for yourself and for those out there in urgent need for a cure for breast cancer at BeeWell Miles . Plus, at the said website you will have at your disposal the advice of healthy living experts and ways to calculate your route's mileage. If you, at this point, need further support, you can even join its community and get motivation from other members joining this noble cause. And if all this wasn't enough, by loading your miles, you will have the chance to get your share of fifteen thousand (yes, 15 with three zeros after it) prices! So join today!

reggae in black and white

I was listening to some pretty good music yesterday that made me wish I had dreadlocks pouring from my head, but unfortunately I don't. However, I am happy to profess that at least I am not bold. Anyhow, amongst the good songs that I was listening, I heard a remix of Bob Marley's "Sun is Shining." With the "day of love" coming up, I figured I should post a picture of a man whose songs embody that same principle: love.
You can find the original picture here.

black and white sloth

Today I really feel like doing nothing. Seriously, I am in one of those lazy-ass modes, and I can't seem to find my way out of it! I woke up today around noon, went to the gym, had some lunch, and have been roaming around my house's living room ever since.

Well, at least I did get to go to the gym, but I still need to apply to a few more grad schools, and I still need to get a lot of other personal matters straighten out to be bummin
g around the crib in such a blatantly unproductive way.

Anyhoo, I surfed the web for a black and white picture which could embody how I feel today, and I think the image of the child just sitt'n there, with a pissed-off face does the job wonderfully.

So enjoy:

black and white soccer

Every time I see a black and white picture of a soccer match, like the one I found here. I always start reminiscing about my grandfather, who for the past 40 years has been a force to be reckon with in that sport. He even has a stadium named after him in a country in South America.
This is yet another characteristic that I like a lot about black and white pics, the way they intensify a moment, just like in the following picture, which I doubt would contain as much force if it were in color. What do you think?

black and white abstract

This reminds me of a Korean movie by the name "Strokes of Fire," the story of a genius south korean painter sometime when the said country was under Japanese control. The guy, whose name I cannot recall, had a photographic memory, and by staring at a masterpiece in one, he wasn't just able to reproduce it, but would add to them his own details that would elevate the piece of art to even higher levels.
Google the title, and watch the movie; you'll enjoy it.

black and white sorrow

You know it; I know it; it's true: we all suffer. Rich or poor, beautiful or dirt ugly, we all have "a cross to bare."
Perhaps it is unfair in the sense that some suffer more than others, but it is comforting in the sense that at least we all share the conditionality of miserable. That's why I love Victor Hugo's novel; if you haven't read it, you should. It'll make you feel better about whatever emotional pain you are currently facing.
So look into the above black and white picture of the woman's sorrow eyes. Just like her, you and I worry at times.

black and white batman

I've placed pictures in black and white of batman before, but when I saw this one, I knew I had to posted here. I just love the story behind this super hero, a troubled wealthy man, in a way, a rich poor kid that turns out to become the better man he can, and in so doing, kicks some capital evil ass. Anyhow, click on the picture to go to the source of the picture; its a great one to have as the background of your computer's screen.

black and white women

I love women; I love their tender skin, their dangerous curves, and the way they bring us men to our knees. I love a woman when she dances, when her body irradiates an energy that just gives you the goosebumps. I love their mystifying eyes, and the way they see right through you.
Thank you for the good times! Thank you women!

The Hilton Promenade

It's been a while since I've been in Missouri; the last time,as a matter of fact, was with my old college roommate, when he invited me to his uncle's home in Jackson. During that same trip, however, we had the opportunity to visit, briefly, Branson. What stricked me most was the vibrant presence of culture all across the said city. If I am not mistaken, there are over fifty theaters in the city, with one of the most charming ones being the Andy Williams Moon River Theater.

If you are considereing spending a tranquil time with your family, consider this ethereal location, specially when Hilton is offering two great locations, The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, with some amazing, holiday packages. For instance, there are four main onces catering to the holiday spirit: The Thanksgiving Package, It’s a Wonderful Life Package, Santa’s Coming to Town Package or the New Years’ Eve Package.

With New Years' Eve this week, there is no time to waste. Reserve your place in either of these locations, so that you can enjoy the beauty and culture of the said city. If you want to get an idea of the vibe either hotels will be putting at your disposal, here is a picture of the locations:

black and white music

Music is magic; as I write, I am listening to some soft salsa rhythms that fill out the room with an energy that is hard to explain. Without it, I don't know exactly what I would be up. I can't even begin to count all the good times that have evolved to what they ended up being thanks to the presence of music. For instance, this one night, I met a girl from Barcelona. A tune started playing that propelled me to go up to her and ask her to dance. From that point on, the rest of the night is not that hard to decipher.
Magic indeed ;)

All Roads Lead to Home

You know what is so great about the holidays? For a moment, disregard all the presents that you get to give (and get ;). The most important and gratifying thing, at least for me, is the time spent, calmly, with my family. Having no worries about the work on the next day, or exams the following weak. The tranquil notion that for the next days, all I will have to do, is: relax, chat with family and friends, and eat some delicious food. It's great!

With that being said, it shouldn't come as a surprise the great joy that gives me to enjoy an afternoon with my sisters and parents watching a good movie. We try to do this at least once per month on a Friday. We don't make popcorn, nor do we order pizza. My dad grills some steak, and opens up a bottle of Pinot Noir, and we chat and drink for a while. Once everything has settled in, we close the blinds, fire up the surround system, an indulge on one or two hours of cinematographic joy.

If you have a similar tradition, consider watching "All Roads lead Home." The story of a 10-year old girl (Belle) who loses her mother in an automobile accident. A powerful story between the joys and struggles that only a family can either bring, or overcome. So, consider watching All Roads Lead Home The Movie for your next family, movie night.

Old Black and White Pics

I love watching old black and white pictures; take for instance the above example. It's hilarious to see such rustic techniques, and to imagine what in the future will make our current Adobe-enhance masterpieces look like funny pieces of junk! It's an amazing thing, you know, knowing that humans can always make better, greater things.
It's an exciting feeling.
Do you feel it?!

Heroes at Home

Say it to yourself: you've worked hard this year, and at the end of it, you need some pampering. Thus, the holidays season coming up in December.
However, as we all know, the upcoming celebration is more than just receiving; it is also about being selfless and giving. And to who better to give than to the countless heroes at home, in continental USA that have been given so much for the well-being of all of us, the countless military service members, veterans, and their families that make this country so great?
Now, thanks through Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry, you have the opportunity to give thanks to them. Join the over a half-a-million donations that have made this program a success. You too can give a small donation that will help the 30,000 plus families that have given so much to this country. Plus, all the donations you give through this great, Sears program will be tax deductible for the current tax year. Also, you can post a message of appreciation to them, and even get a home badge for one of them!

So, give a little to those that have given so much. Use the previous link to get redirected to said program and let the people serving this country how much their time and effort is appreciated back home.

Black and white work

You know, it had been a while since I had worked full time; I had forgotten that compared to it, studying was a very easy endeavor, and not just that: it was also fulfilling. Having successfully finished my first week of full time employment has done nothing but reinforced the initial assumption that work was monotonous, and destructive to your imagination. I swear, there is no coolness about working.
That being said, the black and white picture above of a man working shows exactly how I feel. I may be doing something 100 times more complicated than cleaning the floor (or maybe not), but the boredom is just the same.

Last minute gifts

Regardless that Christmas is behind us, the holiday spirit of giving shouldn't be absent from your mind, specially so when Kmart makes it so simple (and cheap) for you to give to your loved ones some amazing gifts at an amazing price. During these last days of the holidays, Kmart is putting at your disposal over twenty five thousand (yes: 25,000) gifts under twenty five dollars ($25).

I don't know about you, but I'll take advantage of this opportunity and give my causing a 2 GB SanDisk memory card that will only cost me $9.99! He loves to travel and take photographs of the most eccentric things. For instance, he once was in South Asia (Thailand), and took a picture of a man walking on the streets with an elephant, as if it were some small chiguagua by the collar! With all that new memory at his disposal, I can't wait to see what he brings back from his next escapade. I heard he will be heading to the deep, moist jungles of the Amazon in South America...

So, what are you waiting for? Get your last minute gifts from Kmart, at their great, discounted prices. Give your friends and family a priceless smile, through some amazing gifts that, far from costing a fortune, are only under 25 dollars!

Engagement Ring

They say that behind every great man, lies an amazing women, and you know what? That is a fact. Truth is, as a single man who once held a stable relationship, I can attest to the positive influence that a woman brings into a man's life. With that being said, when it comes to settling with one for good, it is pivotal that you make a statement with your engagement ring. This will be the first sign from you to her, and it has to be a strong one, and nothing these days gives the right message more than a platinum ring. These chemical element is not only precious, but it is also extremely resistant to corrosion. Plus, it looks really slick, and the girl whom you'll be giving it to, will notice it.

Furthermore, platinum is naturally white, which means it will keep its brilliance for an entire lifetime, and then some. And if you didn't know, platinum, despite how often it might get mentioned on R&B songs, it is thirty times more rare than gold!

Thus, finding the right platinum ring is of the essence, and when in your search, you should consider heading to the following link to be on the right steps to finding the perfect platinum engagemet ring.

black and white imagination

Imagination is a wonderful thing, perhaps the one thing that has kept the most animal aspect of us human beings from destroying each other. I cannot imagine a word without it. Just think about it, how dull it would be, how meaningless. In a place where monotony would reign, and everything on the vastness of the earth was predictable and uninspiring, how much would this life really be worth then?
By my calculations, not a whole lot. Thankfully, however, imagination is a vibrant thing in this life, even the mediocre amongst us have their fair share of this trait; they might not use it that much, but it's there.
On that note, here is a black and white picture showing some of the creations of imagination in Ontario. Click on the image to get redirected to the source and find other great pieces of work.

black and white golden ratio

Sure, this is a beautiful black and white picture, but just for this time, I'll let that be the second-most important thing about this image. The MOST gorgeous thing is the subject itself; a consequence of the "golden ratio," or phi, as it is mostly known. This number, just like pi, appears in many things in life. From ancient Greek structures, to the shell above. Read more about it. Look it up in wikipedia, or simply google the damn name, and you'll get acquainted with a fascinating fact of life.

Dragon Naturally Speak

Well, if there is something that I can honestly thank my high school for is their ability to teach young lads like me to write fast--really fast. I wasn't aware of it, until I changed schools and moved to Puerto Rico, where in my typing class, I began to kick some serious Boriquan butt. Nonetheless, there aren't many people like that around, furthermore, no matter how hard I try, I can't type more than 110 words per minute. If you are of either group, then you will find $50 Coupon Code- DNSMSBG -Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Preferred a great asset to have. Be it in your work, which might involve lots of typing, or in helping you out in your writing-related hobby, this software will enable you to write as fast as you speak. Think about how fast that can be! With this new software you will see the letters that you have said neatly typed on a computer screen, ready to be rolled out! Plus, you won't have to worry about ongoing spelling mistakes, the software gets it right all the time.
Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Basic with Discount Coupon Code
If you have a hard time believing that this could help you, consider that the software Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Standard does not get interrupted by background noise like dogs barking, or construction work. Far from it, the words that you speak will be faithfully inputted into the computer. If you are still having a hard time conceiving this miraculous software, check the
NY Times Review of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
Furthermore, here is a video so that you can see more clearly what I am writing about:

If you need further incentive, check out these links out that offer coupons for you to save more money (hurry, since these expire on the 31st of December):

Not that you will need any more incentive, but just consider that if you buy the product by 31st of this month, you will be able to write it off on your tax returns for 08.

black and white poker

This is the latest fascination I have encountered in my life. Perhaps not the game itself, but the variations of it. Specifically, I like those table games, such as Texas Holdem Bonus, which pretty much seem like a guaranteed return on the investment. Furthermore, I love playing with cards; I am usually a very nervous person, but I have realized that if I have a deck on my hands, I will be a lot more patient that usual. Not just that, practicing counting cards (though I doubt I will ever pull this off in a casino) provides some brain stimulus, something that I have done little over the past five years in college :P!

running in black and white

This is perhaps my favorite passtime following a long day at work. Running not only liberates my mind, but it also relaxes my muscles while simultaneously getting me fit! It's a great hobby, one that perhaps you should attempt.
Hence the above black and white pic; it really reflects the feeling that I get; the feeling of flying from all worries and tensions of the day, and just RUN!

black and white new york

This image is precisely the view (minus a few colors) that I had while I was up in New York the last time with some friends for some organization's conference. We had mixed several ounces of Rum and Vodka with the contents of some innocent-looking Coca Cola plastic bottles and the result had me with a wonderful buzz.
Unfortunately, for all of us, we crossed paths with the hideous Naked Cowgirl who wouldn't leave us alone, and insisted we tip her just for the fact that she was standing some few feet from where we took some group pics.
However, the tallest of us, some Caribbean monstrosity whom we had just met a few days ago, told her to "Fauck uff," and that got the job done.
Oh yes, I love new wark.

black and white concert

I haven't been to that many concerts in my life. Now that I think of it, I have been to at most two in my life. One of them was to go watch a--at the time--Italian pop artist. I went with whom at the time was my high school crush. Nothing came of it, but the butterflies that fill your guts when you are in those tender years are worth the money. yes, the tickets weren't cheap, and I paid for hers too.
The inhumanity!

black and white

This pictures pretty much was like a vessel that transported me to my days in Italy. Maybe it is because of the scooter on the button right corner of the shot, or perhaps the stylish coats being worn by about ninety percent of the subjects encapsulated on the shot, but there is something in this image that screams to me: ITALY!
More specifically, it reminds me of the Plazza Di Fiori (sp?), a place were I had the greatest time in a casual lets-hang-out night, where we had the most delicious pizza complimented with beer bottles in the dozens.
Beautiful.

black and white amazing

I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to a place or two during my days; I mean, I have seen the Vatican by night, and even been lucky enough to experience a South Asian sunset while traveling on the back of an elephant in Pattaya.
I've been drunk in the middle of Times Square, and have even had the chance to be completely sober-yet inebriated by the sight-in the ethereal beaches of Culebra, an uninhabited island an hour away from Puerto Rico.
Yet, I have never had the chance to be in the amazing setting captured so greatly in the above black and white picture. It is obviously a place in Europe (perhaps Switzerland or France), but I don't have the slightlesst clue. Perhaps if I was more internet-adventorous I would wonder through the links that got me to the image and discover it myself, but I will pass for today.
You, however, don't need to be so dull as I am; click on the image, and you will get redirected to the true source of this amazing pic.

black and white muscle

I found this great black and white picture on someone's flickr account (click on the image to be redirected). When I searched for a picture of this topic, I was honestly not trying to find a miniature toy of a samurai (or changun if you are Korean, but that's another story). Regardless, this is one of the better images that I could find of the subject, and I like the texture that it is presented on. I don't know if this is some adobe photo editing, or if it is just that the little toy samurai is portrait in a cloth-like material, but the final product is great.

Spring in Black and White

Though spring is beautiful because of all the colors that it brings from the ground, its beauty is exemplefied the most when taken in black and white. Case in point, the picture above. I've enjoyed more my walks from my apartment to campus because of flowers like that, plus the weather is just great. Unlike the summer when two minutes outside any air conditioned room and you are already sweating like a sponge.

123rf

Confess it: you love images. Most importantly, you love great images, and that's the reason why you are in this blog, where we try to bring some cool ones in the black and white genre. However, if you have a more eclectic taste, don't hesitate to go to 123rf.com to see some breathtaking snapshots by some of the most creative minds out there.
If providing you with quality images is not enough for you, consider their newest promotional scheme: 123rf Search and Win. If you search for any image of your liking in their site, you might have the chance to see a special icon that will automatically render you the winner of some amazing prices such as: 1) a Wacom Bamboo , an eighty dollar value, and 2) 20 123rf credits which are valued at twenty bucks.
But forget for a moment about that, I searched for a black and white picture on their site, and found some amazing shots. Take a look at the link to confirm, and pay close attention to the creation of one of their dutch members, a shot of a gorgeous girl flexing above a smooth, water surface. The image is amazing to say the least.

A black and white graveyard

If you look at this picture carefully, you can perhpas notice the subtle graphical oxymoron going on in this black and white picture of the graveyard. If you don't, let me break up to you. First, the scenario, a graveyard, perhaps the last place you would go to for hope. Yet, near the center of the picture, we have the bright sun rising, with its rays proclaiming the advent of a new day, with new hope, a new beginning. And thus, where most people find an end, the picture suggests a new beginning. Ironic, is it not?

Make it easy and classy

Let's be honest here: every man looks a little sharper, a little more intriguing, with a well-fitted suit. The same goes for the contrary; on a baggy suit, a man looks cheap, careless, and to some extent: pathetic. Don't be the latter man for crying out loud, not when there is a site out there that makes it easy for you to get the perfect suit from the comfort of your home. The site is mysuitny.com, and their tool, my.suit experience, is the magic that can get a custom suit to your liking without even stepping out of your crib.

Let's get started. First, the measurements (easy, I got my roommate here with a ruler; it should be a matter of seconds). Second, style: let's focus on the jacket. I won't be humble, but I look suave on a two-button suit, so that's what I'll take. What about you?

Next step, the pants option (a no brainer). Let's keep it simple with the "Flat Front." More is less baby. On to the fabric. Easy: Navy Strip (100% Wool, in case you were wondering). Ok, almost there.

Its.So.Easy. If a monkey had some sense of style; he would be logged in right now.
Voila! It's done; all there is to do is to make an appointment to finish this hassle-free endeavour, and in no time I'll have a badass aura around me.

Do it!
It's easy!
You'll love it.
Namaste.

black and white fire

Fire is amazing; really, and I am not talking because of its direct relationship with the mythical creature, the Phoenix; it is amazing on its own right. The soothing ambiance that it irradiates on a bonfire. Think about it. One minute, you are in the middle of a forest, cold, hungry, and perhaps worried about what might be surrounding you, and then the next: Boom! There is fire; there is warmth, fuel to cook what you hunted, light to see what leis next to you. It's amazing. Granted, you can't get that feeling from a black and white picture, but you can certainly appreciate the wonders of its textures.

Air New Zeeland's Cranial Scheme

Meet Jason P.; he's smart, he is charismatic--has a considerable vocabulary--and perhaps most importantly: has an awesomely shaped, egg-like shaved head. The type of quality that could very well qualify in Air New Zeeland's upcoming contest where thirty male adults will provide the essence of their new cranial, marketing scheme.

But if you were to believe that they would stop there, you are wrong; there is another step, and that involves getting the smooth surfaces tattooed! And for what you may ask? To promote an ethereal escapade to one amazing country (yes, you guessed it): New Zeeland, at no other than one of the most hip cities in the continental USA: Los Angeles. So, if you fancy the prospect of having the rear of your head seen on all its glamour on top of some lavish billboard in LA (and getting paid too), visit www.airnewzealand.com.

Yet, don't limit yourself to just one of Air New Zeeland's obvious destination (they fly to Australia and the UK too, amongst other places): think broader. Truth is, that in every trip there is a chance of not just getting to know your fellow global brethren a little better; there is also the opportunity of finding yourself. Take myself, for instance. Two years ago, I traveled to Latvia. Most of the people had never heard of it. As a matter of fact, when I would comment about my upcoming trip to Europe, people would automatically conclude that my final destination was either Paris or Rome. Wrong! Not only did I end up spending a small fraction of what would've cost to stay in said cities, but I had an unforgettable time, meeting amazing people from all over the place, and truly enjoying the benefits that surface oh-so-naturally when becoming a citizen of the world.

So, what are you waiting for? Break away from the monotony of your current comfort zone, and escape: the world is a whole lot more reachable than what you might suspect.

Black and White Times Square
