When I was small, I used to love going to a specific uncle's house. He lived in this small cabin located in a remote plateau, about twenty minutes from where my parents used to live. What I used to adore about this home was that at the back of the house, there used to be a little "secret door" that would open to a small track amidst the heavy vegetation surrounding the little crib. If you followed it, it would eventually take you to this small river whose weak torrent made the most relaxing sounds.

This reminds me of a Korean movie by the name "Strokes of Fire," the story of a genius south korean painter sometime when the said country was under Japanese control. The guy, whose name I cannot recall, had a photographic memory, and by staring at a masterpiece in one, he wasn't just able to reproduce it, but would add to them his own details that would elevate the piece of art to even higher levels.
You know it; I know it; it's true: we all suffer. Rich or poor, beautiful or dirt ugly, we all have "a cross to bare."
I've placed pictures in black and white of batman before, but when I saw this one, I knew I had to posted here. I just love the story behind this super hero, a troubled wealthy man, in a way, a rich poor kid that turns out to become the better man he can, and in so doing, kicks some capital evil ass. Anyhow, click on the picture to go to the source of the picture; its a great one to have as the background of your computer's screen.
I love women; I love their tender skin, their dangerous curves, and the way they bring us men to our knees. I love a woman when she dances, when her body irradiates an energy that just gives you the goosebumps. I love their mystifying eyes, and the way they see right through you.

I love watching old black and white pictures; take for instance the above example. It's hilarious to see such rustic techniques, and to imagine what in the future will make our current Adobe-enhance masterpieces look like funny pieces of junk! It's an amazing thing, you know, knowing that humans can always make better, greater things.

Sure, this is a beautiful black and white picture, but just for this time, I'll let that be the second-most important thing about this image. The MOST gorgeous thing is the subject itself; a consequence of the "golden ratio," or phi, as it is mostly known. This number, just like pi, appears in many things in life. From ancient Greek structures, to the shell above. Read more about it. Look it up in wikipedia, or simply google the damn name, and you'll get acquainted with a fascinating fact of life.

This is perhaps my favorite passtime following a long day at work. Running not only liberates my mind, but it also relaxes my muscles while simultaneously getting me fit! It's a great hobby, one that perhaps you should attempt.
This image is precisely the view (minus a few colors) that I had while I was up in New York the last time with some friends for some organization's conference. We had mixed several ounces of Rum and Vodka with the contents of some innocent-looking Coca Cola plastic bottles and the result had me with a wonderful buzz.
This pictures pretty much was like a vessel that transported me to my days in Italy. Maybe it is because of the scooter on the button right corner of the shot, or perhaps the stylish coats being worn by about ninety percent of the subjects encapsulated on the shot, but there is something in this image that screams to me: ITALY!
I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to a place or two during my days; I mean, I have seen the Vatican by night, and even been lucky enough to experience a South Asian sunset while traveling on the back of an elephant in Pattaya.
I found this great black and white picture on someone's flickr account (click on the image to be redirected). When I searched for a picture of this topic, I was honestly not trying to find a miniature toy of a samurai (or changun if you are Korean, but that's another story). Regardless, this is one of the better images that I could find of the subject, and I like the texture that it is presented on. I don't know if this is some adobe photo editing, or if it is just that the little toy samurai is portrait in a cloth-like material, but the final product is great.
